Growing-up in a family of teachers, learning has always been enjoyable and important to me! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, working with children and youth who have experienced trauma, I was dismayed by how many weren’t reading and doing math at grade level, contributing to their low self esteem and anxiety. People have different learning needs, and one style doesn’t fit all. I believe Montrose Classical Academy will offer students new opportunities for growth and “peek” their interest in learning.
